Minor Participation and Parent/Guardian Consent
1. Scope
This document applies when a minor participates in any Realized Coach service, program, event, course, app feature, community, or coaching-related activity.
2. Parent/Guardian Consent
The parent or legal guardian confirms legal authority to consent for the minor and agrees to all Realized Coach legal terms on behalf of the minor.
3. Nature of Services
Services are coaching, education, training, personal development, and tools. They are not psychotherapy, medical care, psychiatric treatment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, or emergency services.
4. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
The parent/guardian is responsible for determining suitability, supervising the minor's participation where appropriate, monitoring safety, communicating relevant needs, and seeking licensed professional care when needed. Parent/guardian assumes responsibility for supervising the minor's use of app features, community features, AI features, messaging tools, social interactions, goal tools, journaling tools, health/fitness tools, and online interactions.
5. Minor Data and Privacy
Parent/guardian understands that Realized Coach may collect information from or about the minor as described in the Privacy Policy. Additional consent may be required for children under applicable age thresholds or jurisdictions.
6. Confidentiality Limits
Realized Coach may share information with a parent/guardian, disclose information for safety reasons, or decline to keep information confidential from a parent/guardian where legally or ethically appropriate.
7. Emergency
Realized Coach is not an emergency service. Parent/guardian must contact local emergency services for urgent safety, medical, mental health, or crisis concerns.
8. Release and Indemnity
Parent/guardian releases and indemnifies Realized Coach to the fullest extent permitted by law for claims related to the minor's participation, except where claims cannot legally be released.
9. Severability and Survival
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Consent, release, indemnity, confidentiality limits, payment obligations, and dispute-resolution provisions survive completion, cancellation, termination, or account closure.
